Congratulations to all those who sat the assessment at SMPTE09
It was great to meet so many people at SMPTE09, and confirm what we know from the past three years of development: that MITC is an important part of restoring learning culture to the industry.
Those who took advantage of the opportunity to do the assessment onsite said it was an interesting and thorough test. It's going to be a while before we can deliver the MITC assessment online, but we are working on ways to bring the assessment opportunity interstate.
If you live in Brisbane, Canberra or Melbourne, register your interest on the site now. That way we can contact you as we get more clarity on when we might be coming to your town. We are investigating possibility of Melbourne in week 1 of September, Canberra in early October, and and Brisbane in the last week of November.
Extra Value Special extended!
If you already have TOCP then the grandfathering clause means you have already pre-qualified for MITC Practitioner level in TV Domain (MP-TV). And if you have a BOCP, then you've pre-qualified for a MITC Practitioner in Radio Domain (MP-R). What could be easier?
If you had problems registering for the $50 special during the SMPTE event, watch this space: we will be extending the offer to take that into account.

Media Industry Technologist Certification is a national not-for-profit initiative created and sponsored by industry, for industry. Whether you’re in Radio, Television, Film, Transmission, New Media, Broadcast Operations, or Outside Broadcast...
